This track has an incredible amount of sentimental value for me. Back in 2013, when I was just breaking into the world of producing and creating music to be heard by the public, I decided to experiment by making Aquarium Park from Sonic Colors into a laid-back electronic track, with some Oriental elements, to go with the original aesthetic of the level. Late into the development of MOBIUS, a window opened for someone to contribute a rendition of this song, so I decided to revisit it and try to flesh it out into a song that could stand on its own. I spent several days struggling with the mix and conveying what I wanted to convey in the best way that I could, so I sent the project to my friend Teodor Dumitrache to see what he could do with it. As it turns out, Teodor had ideas in mind that were completely different from my own, and transformed my arrangement into something different than I ever saw in it. After he got my project file, my job was done with the song, since he did it better than I possibly could. To me, it is absolutely incredible looking back on the first work-in-progress that I ever made for this, and comparing it to the final product that Tudd and I made together, and how full-circle everything has come.
