about

As a longtime Word of Warcraft player, I had to set its theme for this project! The game is simultaneously epic and goofy, two conflicting traits I hoped to capture in my arrangement. Those familiar with WoW will recognize the frustrated 2005-era lyrics, harkening back to a time of rickety servers and unstable internet connections. Those unfamiliar should simply enjoy the melodramatic tale of a gamer up past her bed time…

lyrics

God, it’s getting late,
when did I start to raid?
I should sleep!

My god I think it’s getting light out,
what time was it when I started raiding?
I should sleep!

How long have I been playing?
How long have I been playing?
How long have I been playing?
How long...
